Start-up Leeds: planning and developing your business

When? Tuesday 19th October 2021 10:00 - 12:30

Where? Horsforth Library, Town Street, Horsforth LS18

No description available

In the third of our interactive sessions at Horsforth Library, we’ll be looking at business planning using a template called the business model canvas.

The business model canvas is a popular framework that considers the nine building blocks for running your business. It is a visual one-page chart that maps your key partners, activities, resources, value proposition, customer relationships, channels, customer segments, costs and revenue streams.

In this session, you’ll:

• Learn how to understand the business model canvas

• Use an interactive template to create your own business model canvas and discuss this with other attendees

• Map out your vision and identify what actions you need to get there

• Gain confidence using the canvas to plan and develop your own business

This workshop will be delivered by Brenda Etchells.
