News | TORCHBEARER INTERACTIVE IS THE BUSINESS OF THE MONTH!

Eaton Smith is delighted to announce that Torchbearer Interactive Ltd has been awarded the Business of the Month Award for December 2021.

Torchbearer Interactive works with customers in a variety of sectors providing a broad range of technological services including software design and development, games development, cloud hosting and network architecture and technical consultancy. The company was set up by three Huddersfield University students in 2016 who have a passion for coding and programming. Initially set up as a games development studio, the team at Torchbearer has used its skills to offer additional services and grow the business.

James Burgess, Partner at Eaton Smith and member of the judging panel commented; “Torchbearer submitted an impressive application detailing the business’s growth and commitment to the region through employment opportunities and profile. The team’s passion for what they do was evident, and their future looks very bright.”

Jon Langley, Co-Founder & Director of Torchbearer Interactive said; “We have worked hard to build a business that we are all passionate about and we are extremely proud to have it recognised by this award. We have ambitious plans for our business and, although our work reaches internationally, we are very proud of our West Yorkshire roots.”

Torchbearer Interactive now goes through to the Business of the Year Award which will be held in July 2022.

The Business of the Month Award is run in conjunction with the Mid Yorkshire Chamber and the Department for International Trade.
